YOUNG PEOPLE’S SERVICES

The Living Well Service

The Living Well Service is designed for young adults with learning needs and operates across Wiltshire and BANES. We enhance and improve the lives of people who live with their families, or who own or rent a home with their own tenancy/license.

We are flexible to individual needs, ambitions and budget. We work with young people, families, carers, and other professionals to decide what great support looks like. Then our Living Well team make that plan a reality.

STEPS Programme

We continue to provide learning for young adults, beyond formal education. On ‘Steps’ the focus is on learning skills for work and life, maximising a person’s independence as much as possible. If a more independent future is the objective, then a residential or day Steps programme could be the next best step forward for you.

Short breaks (respite for families)

We offer young adults with learning needs, Short Breaks in our residential homes, in Dilton Marsh, near Westbury. We offer daytime and overnight stays and there are always plenty of fun opportunities to make the experience an enjoyable one. We offer a chance to make new friends, try new experiences and lean new skills.

The Living Well Social Club

The Social Club offers a chance for adults with learning needs to get together, have fun and make friends.

The club happens weekly, near Westbury, attracting people from across Wiltshire.

The club offers a variety of social opportunities, including cinema trips, pub meet ups, meals out, games nights, bowling and more. Come and join us and have a say in what we plan for future weeks.

Fairfield College Residential Placements

Fairfield Young Peoples’ Services offer residential placements to eligible students attending our college.

Our trained, skilled support staff enhance the college experience by continuing the learning in our six houses, all a short walk away. Young people are encouraged to cook, to tidy up and to attend evening sporting and social opportunities. Our houses are a place to unwind after a busy day, but they also offer the chance to develop many important skills for life.
